Method and installation for producing a diode holder. The method consists in, in a blank (for signs or the like), forming bowl-shaped reflectors and making openings for mounting diodes 1. Diodes are then mounted in these openings, which diodes are wedged securely in the opening by virtue of their being designed with a broader rear part. The installation comprises a machine frame 14, on which a slide consisting of two pairs of parallel bars 16 is horizontally movable. On this slide, stamping and punching members 19 are vertically movable. These members comprise a pair of blocks which can be moved in a synchronized manner each on its own side of the blank 13 and are designed with tools for forming the reflectors and making the openings in the blank 13. <IMAGE> |
