The clothing guard is fixed to the mudguard of a bicycle etc. It comprises a part-circular plate (2) with stiffening portions along the periphery and a strip-type connector (1) gripping it and the mudguard (3). The connector can be of S- or H-shaped cross-section, with a channel-portion gripping the mudguard and thickened at the mouth to form hooks. These portions can be chamfered ont he outside, for easy snapping into engagement with the mudguard.
