It applies to the selection of fruit such as citrus fruits, tomatoes and the like. It comprises a supply conveyor originating from the rollers which dry the fruit after it has been washed, which direct it towards roller conveyors located along the sides of another central, belt conveyor. On this central belt conveyor are diversions which displace the fruit towards the lateral roller conveyors so that the fruit is turned over, offering its entire surface for inspection by operators responsible for sorting. The roller conveyors have been increased in number, installing intermediate auxiliary conveyors, which increases sorting capacity. <IMAGE>
