PURPOSE:To improve operability by deciding an unmagnification APS mode, a magnification APS mode and an unmagnified fine adjustment APS mode and controlling the position of a lens according to magnification value. CONSTITUTION:When the magnification value inputted from an input means 1001 is in a magnification mode, the sheet size is computed 1007 based on the magnification value and the original size detected by an original size sensor 1002. A CPU 1011 controls a sheet size computing means 1007 and also controls the moving speed of a carriage equipped with an optical means and the position of an optical lens according to the magnification value so as to perform recording based on the magnification value on a sheet supplied from a sheet tray. Moreover, the CPU 1011 selects the copying sheet having the same size as the original size at the time of receiving the command of the APS mode with unmagnified fine adjustment and controls the moving speed and the position of the lens according to unmagnified fine adjustment magnification. |
