PURPOSE:To surely carry out sliver ending without reducing number of revolutions of spindle and causing troubles such as end break of sliver during silver ending by equipping a sliver ending machine with a specific yarn guide member and a means to transfer action position of the member only for a specific time. CONSTITUTION:In a silver ending machine intermittently moving along the row of spindles of a ring spinning frame equipped with a slub catcher and carrying out sliver ending in front of each spindle, the sliver ending machine is equipped with a yarn guide member 55 to introduce spun yarn to the lower part of slub catchers 16 during sliver ending and a means 56 to transfer the member. Consequently, even if ballooning of spun yarn is enlarged, the spun can be prevented from being caught by the slub catchers 16. |
