The heating device has an inner vessel (16) holding the milk and an outer vessel (10) surrounding the latter. This is filled with water heated by electric heating elements (13) at its base the outer vessel (10) is in turn contained within an outer housing (1). The inner vessel (16) is removable for cleaning and cooperates with a spring-biased closure valve (18) opened via a discharge tap (20) to allow a drink to be dispensed. Pref. the base of the vessel (16) has a cuff projecting from its base, for fitting to the outside of the valve (18). ADVANTAGE - Simplified cleaning.
