PURPOSE:To automatize the paying-in transaction concerning a large recording medium by handling even a recording medium with the larger width dimension of the inserting direction than the width of a receiving port. CONSTITUTION:When the width dimension of the inserting direction of the recording medium of the designated transaction is larger than a receiving width (t) of a receiving means 4, a user is guided so as to divide and insert the recording medium into a size which can be received by the receiving means 4. Consequently, even the large recording medium, which is hard to be received, can be received. Namely, for example, like a paying-in slip such as a gas charge and a water charge, when a user brings the paying-in slip which cannot be inserted from a transaction medium inserting port 4 in such a condition, the user is guided so as to divide and insert the paying-in slip 4. Thus, the paying-in transaction such as the gas charge and the water charge can be automatically preformed by an automatic transaction device. |
