<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the ingress of rain water by adopting a basic and technical means for so providing a wall on one of the mating faces of a housing pair to extend toward the other mating face, and more preferably positioning a seal material such as an O-ring at the outside of the wall. CONSTITUTION:A grove 118 of approximate U-shape is positioned along the inner edge of a main housing 2, a rubber O-ring 119 is inserted in the groove 118 and the O-ring 119 is flexed with the mating face 115 of a sub-housing 2', thereby ensuring sealing pressure. Also, the inner edge of the main housing 2 is formed as a wall 120 extended up and even if rain water and dusts pass the O-ring 119, the wall 120 is made to prevent the ingress of rain water and dusts in the housing 2. Furthermore, the aforesaid wall 120 is effective to improve sealing quality, even when the mating faces of both housings 2 and 2' are bonded or welded to each other. According to the aforesaid construction, it is possible to prevent water pushed out from entering further inside with the formation of an internal wall.</p> |
