<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a door lock device having an improved relationship with the fastener of a weather strip by adopting a means for forming a recess part on a part of housing above a motor storage part and faced to a door panel and using the recess part for supporting the head of a clip. CONSTITUTION:A groove 118 having an approximate L-shape is formed along the inner edge of a main housing 2 and a rubber O-ring 119 is inserted in the groove 118 and the O-ring 119 is flexed with the mating face 115 of a sub- housing 2', thereby ensuring sealing pressure. In addition, a recess part 191 as much recessed as possible is provided in a space formed above the motor storage part of the housing 2 and a clearance from the tip 190 of a clip is thereby maintained. Namely, it is possible to provide a recess part for the prevention of interference with the clip for fitting a weather strip by so positioning an operation lever as to be clear of the upper part of the motor storage part. According to the aforesaid construction, the degree of freedom is enhanced for arrangement in a vehicle as the substantial thickness of an actuator part is reduced. Also, the weather strip can be rigidly and stably retained and the high sealing performance thereof can be ensured.</p> |
