This openwork shelf is of the sort consisting of a plurality of parallel rods secured together by crossmembers and in which these crossmembers can move via their free ends over slideways located on the lateral walls of the enclosure of the refrigerator, very close to one another and which make it possible to adjust the openwork shelf in the height direction, essentially characterised in that it consists of two half openwork shelves connected together by double hinges, consisting of components which fit to the neighbouring crossmembers of the half openwork shelves, so that the crossmembers of each of the half openwork shelves can act on different slideways of the lateral walls of the enclosure. <IMAGE>
