<p>PURPOSE:To effectively use each cutter bit by fitting a slide cutter having an ordinary cutter bit to a rotary disc cutter, and moving the tip part of the slide cutter in an elliptical form using a cutter shifting hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary cutter disc 3 is rotated, slide cutters 6 having cutter bits 2, cutter shifting hydraulic cylinders 7, a striker 10 and the like turn and the first proximity switches S1 and S2 are actuated with the striker 10. Also, the slide cutters 6 are caused to move due to the operation of the cutter shifting hydraulic cylinders 7. Furthermore, the tip part of each slide cutter 6 moves along the external surface of a shield drilling machine body 1. According to the aforesaid construction, it is possible to rotate the rotary cutter disc 3 with relatively low torque and carry out effective cutting work with each cutter bit 2 of the slider cutters 6.</p> |
