PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a film excellent in not only average value of dielectric breakdown voltage but also heat resistance and mechanical characteristics by restricting the kind and amt. of metals to be incorporated in a resin compsn. wherein poly-p-phenylene sulfide is a main component. CONSTITUTION:A film is formed of a resin compsn. wherein poly-p-phenylene sulfide is a main component. The wt.-average value of the standard electric voltage E0 of a metal incorporated in this resin compsn. is -1.5V or lower and the total amt. Y (the unit is ppm) of the content of this metal is 80<=Y<=700. In addition, the wt. X (the unit is ppm) of the metal extractable with chloroform satisfies the relation 0<=X<=(0.5Y-40) based on the wt. of said resin compsn. Furthermore, in addition to said conditions, it is possible to elevate the effect by satisfying the relation Z<=50 wherein Z (the unit is ppm) is the weight of a metal extractable with hot water. |
