PURPOSE:To promote the gasification and atomization of fuel directly injected into a working chamber being in a suction stroke by ingecting the fuel and assistant air from an advance side of the working chamber toward its delay side in the later half of the suction stroke. CONSTITUTION:A binary fluid injection valve 21 is provided on an advance side of a working chamber 6 being in a suction stroke, and can individually inject fuel and assistant air, and points its injection direction from the advance side toward the delay side in the working chamber, and further injects the fuel and the assistance air against the flow of suction flowing into the working chamber 6 from a suction part 10 in the later half of the suction stroke. Thus a swirling flow is produced in the working chamber 6 to make the fuel lie on itself, and thereby prevents the fuel supplied into the working chamber being in the suction stroke from expanding toward the delay side. In addition, the completion of the assistant air injection is made to coincide with the completion of the suction stroke as closely as possible for maintaining the stratifying action of the assistant air and the fuel. |
