PURPOSE:To readily dye an expanded polyurethane to a bright hue even into fine pinholes with excellent color fastness under mild conditions by using a disperse dye in dyeing thereof. CONSTITUTION:An expanded polyurethane is readily dyed with a disperse dye under mild conditions (at 70-80 deg.C for <=30min) to a bright hue excellent in color fastness to daylight and washing. The above-mentioned method is especially preferably applied to the expanded polyurethane obtained from a polyester diol and methylene diisocyanate and the dyed products are useful as parts for footwears, such as shoes or boots. |
