PURPOSE:To facilitate information exchange between users by displaying the color or the type of the displaying area in a picture of a station which an information editing program uses by distinguishing them according to whether the editing program in question is interlocked with the program on other station or not and so on. CONSTITUTION:The stations 1000 to 3000 in which the user inputs and outputs a voice or inputs and outputs information to the program are connected to an information communication network 4000. Interactive control program 1400, 2400, 3400 analyses input from the user of the station, and if the input is an interlocking request, it prepares on inter-program communication channel, and updates the information related to the connected other party of an interlocking correspondence table, and changes the color or the form of the information displaying areas the editing program uses after checking the connection state of a voice exchange channel, and in addition, sets its own state at an interlocking state. In the case where an interlocking stopping request arises, it releases the inter-program communication channel, and simultaneously, changes the color or the shape of the information displaying area, and sets its own state at a non-interlocking state. Thus, the information exchange between the users can be facilitated.
