<p>PURPOSE:To always efficiently reproduce data by detecting majority of the same information indicating the data recording direction and discriminating the data recording direction at the time of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recording in a data section 8, A control circuit 15 drives a recording start flag write circuit 16 and recording start flag 9-1 to 9-5 are successively recorded on the recording track of an optical card through a laser drive circuit 13 based on the output of the circuit 16 after an ID section 3 or 4 is detected during the relative reciprocating movement between the card and optical unit 14. Then recording end flags 10-1 to 10-5 are successively recorded after the control circuit 15 causes a sector buffer memory to output recording data and the recording data are successively recorded through a modulation circuit 12. At the time of reproduction, on the other hand, flags obtained from the output of a signal process circuit 19 through a recording start flag and recording end flag detection circuits 21 and 22 are respectively counted 23 and 24 and the data section 8 is read when a counted result of >=3 is obtained between the end of the ID section 3 or 4 and leading edge of the data section 8.</p> |
