PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic, having enhanced function to activate the skin and capable of keeping glossy, young and fresh skin by blending a higher alcohol mixture having cell activating function with other ingredients. CONSTITUTION:The objective substance obtained by containing 0.01-10wt.% 22-36C straight-chain saturated alcohol mixture, suitably blending an oily ingredient, an alcohol, purified water, perfume, antioxidant, ultraviolet ray absorber, coloring matter, vitamins, etc., which are normally used cosmetic raw materials and preparing a formulation according to a conventional method. The cosmetic can be prepared in the form of toilet water, milky lotion, cream, lipstick, etc. A higher alcohol mixture obtained by hydrolyzing a mixture contained in the ester type in natural wax, such as rice wax or insect wax, with an alkali and purifying the resultant extract is used as the higher alcohol mixture, added by predissolving in the oily ingredient or ethanol while being heated and then subjected to emulsifying treatment due to strong hydrophobicity thereof. |
