In this self-centring clutch release bearing, the operating members 10 and engaging members 11 are assembled by means of a radially resilient ring 20 interacting with a bearing flank 28 formed on the sleeve 12 with a frustoconical profile with a peak half-angle A. It is assembled simply by the engaging member moving axially, the ring passing over a projecting lip 29 arranged at the end of an engagement ramp 30. The axial retaining force corresponds to the axial component of the radial resilient reaction of the ring on the frustoconical face 28. <IMAGE> |
