<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of power consumption by suspending continuous retrieval automatically so as to make an auto-power-off function effective after the continuous retrieval of definite quantity. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 11 performs the processing of the input/output of a whole information storing and displaying device 1 and arithmetic operation, etc., and besides, it is provided with the auto-power-off function to cut power supply automatically when a non-operating state continues for definite time, a continuous retrieving function to display corresponding data from among the data stored beforehand continuously in prescribed order with the clue of the inputted data, and further a retrieval suspending means to suspend automatically the continuous retrieval so as to make the auto-power-off function effective after the continuous retrieval of definite quantity even in the course of the continuous retrieval. Thus, even through the quantity of the data corresponding to the inputted data is plentiful, the increase of the power consumption can be prevented by avoiding the long hours execution of the continuous retrieval.</p> |
