Hand operated self-adhesive label print and dispense unit

The manually operated labelling unit prints, releases and dispenses self-adhesive labels held on a carrier tape which is wound off a supply roll so that it passes around the front edge of a plate to release the label. The tape transport mechanism comprises a transport wheel rotated step-wise in one direction only by a manual lever.The plate is carried by a bottom assembly which is swivellable about a horizontal pivot and a pressure roller forward of the said front edge applies the dispensed label.
