发明名称 WAVELENGTH MULTIPLEXED LIGHT MODULE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a wavelength multiplexed light module which is small in size, good in assembling property, and low in cost by arranging a light emitting element, light receiving element, and fiber in the same holder on almost the same axis, with the light emitting element on one side and the light receiving element and fiber on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A light receiving element 4 is mounted on a stem 7 for the element 4 with a glass block 11 provided with two spherical or cylindrical lenses to be respectively positioned in front of a light emitting element 2 and the element 4 and a filter 10 which selects a desired wavelength and a ferrule 6 fitted with a fiber 5 is fixed in the vicinity of the element 4 through the through hole of the stem 7. The elements 2 and 4 and fiber 5 are nearly aligned on the same axis and the spherical or cylindrical lens on the element 4 side also works for the fiber 5. Therefore, this module can be miniaturized. Moreover, when the optical axis is adjusted by, for example, adjusting the optical axis of the element 2 with the spherical or cylindrical lens to that of the fiber 5, the need of a highly precise transferring jig for aligning the optical axes of the elements 2 and 4 and fiber 5 can be eliminated and the assembling property of this module can be improved.
