PURPOSE:To make the installation of a rubber bearing easier by a method in which the lower metal plate of rubber bearing is pressed forward to cause the shear deformation of the bearing, a press metal for advancement and a stopper metal are removed, and the upper metal plate is moved to remove the shear deformation. CONSTITUTION:A lower coupling projection 5 is provided to the lower metal plate 4 side of a rubber bearing 3 set on the lower support board 2 on a support structure 1, and an upper coupling projection 7 is integrally provided to the upper metal plate 6 side. A press metal 10 for advancement is detachably fixed to an upper support board 9 on the bearing 3 and a stopper metal 11 coupled with the projection 7 is detachably fixed to the board 2. The plate 4 is pressed forwards through the board 9 and the metal 10 by the contraction of the beam part 8 to cause the shear deformation of the bearing 3. The metal 10 and the stopper 11 are removed, and the plate 6 is moved forwards through the board 9 by the contraction of the beam part 8 to remove shear deformation of the bearing 3. The installation can thus be easily performed. |
