PURPOSE:To lay sandbag sheets packed in no-spacing states by packing a packing material consisting of a water-soluble high molecular compound wet sand and soil as main components into a sandbag. CONSTITUTION:A packing material consisting of a water-soluble high molecular compound, e.g., polyethylene oxide, etc., in an amount enough to form an aqueous solution of 0.2-10m<3> (preferably 0.2-5m<3> or more preferably 0.2-2m<3>) per 1m<3> of dry sand and soil of water including moisture present in the sand and soil, having a viscosity of 5-5,000cps, preferably 10-1,000cps, is packed into sandbags. If a polyhydric alcohol, e.g., ethylene glycol, glucose, etc., is added to the water, the aqueous polyethylene oxide solution can be prepared in short time. |
