PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium capable of determining both reflectance and absorptivity to high values for a laser beam used for reading and recording information by holding two specific dyes of different types on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:An optical information recording medium holds a dye shown by a formula (I) and a dye shown by a formula (II) on the same substrate. In the formula (I), Z<1> and Z<2> represent alkyl, aryl, or alkenyl; Q is N or C-R<6> (R<6> is hydrogen, alkyl, or aryl); R<1>, R<2>, and R<3> are alkyl, aryl, or alkenyl; X<-> is anion; G is a group connecting with N-R<3> to form a five- or six-membered ring; and L is methine, substd. methine, or the like. In the formula (II), Z<3> and Z<4> represent substd./unsubstd. nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; Z<5> is bivalent hydrocarbon forming a five- or six-membered ring; R<7> and R<8> are hydrogen or substd./unsubstd. alkyl; A is oxygen, sulfur, or substd./unsubstd. imide; (l), (m), and (n) are 0 or 1; and (p) and (q) are 0, 1, or 2. |
