PURPOSE:To do first steam separation and to remove ammonia from the water which contains ammonia inside a generating facility without adding make-up water to the generating facility of a fuel battery from the outside by reducing the pressure of contaminated water of a water circulating device so that steam may be separated sufficiently by steam separation from the contaminated water of the water circulating device. CONSTITUTION:The inflow path 3 of the device 2 to remove ammonia is connected to a reforming device, and through this inflow path 3 fuel gas high in hydrogen concentration which flows out of a fuel battery generating facility is sent from the reforming device to a contact cooler 5. A spray device 7 to spray water is provided in the upper part of this cooler 5, and water from which ammonia, other carbon, etc., contained in fuel gas are separated collects in a water receiving part 11, and the cooling water is sent to a steam separator 6 through a water supply pipe 4. The water at high temperature which is pressurized in this water supply pipe 4 passes through a throttle orifice and the pressure lowers, and ammonia, etc., are removed from the contaminated water contained in the inside by the steam separator 6. |
