<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the cost by manufacturing a single split cage locking tab which is an annular ring having one axial split and pockets separated from each other in the circumferential direction and in which two ends of the split are closed by male and female locking elements by an axial draw molding method. CONSTITUTION: Pockets 20 separated from each other in the circumferential direction which are demarcated by outer annular end rims 22 and inner end rims 24 connected to each other by horizontal rods 26, and splits in the axial direction are formed on a ring 10 formed of an elastic material, and male locking elements 42, 52, female locking elements 44, 54, and flat ends 46, 56 are provided on ends 40, 50. The male locking element 42 is slide-fitted to the female locking element 54, while the female locking element 44 is interference-fitted to the male locking element 52, and are fixed projections 48, 58. A single split cage locking tab can thus be manufactured by an axial draw molding method, and the cost can be reduced.</p> |
