The lock is operated by a locking lever (9) which is either driven by hand or by a servo drive. The drive lever (17) for the lock is linked to the servo drive by a worm gear (18,327) and by a cam (45) on the worm gear contacting the edge of the drive lever. The tooth profile of the worm gear ensures accurate meshing. The servo drive includes an elastic element and the drive lever is pivot mounted in the housing by a stepped shaft.
