PURPOSE:To improve contrast, responsiveness and repetitive characteristics by incorporating a specific thermotropic liquid crystalline high polymer and sensitizing dye into a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The thermotropic liquid crystalline high polymer expressed by the formula I or the formula II and the sensitizing dye are incorporated into the recording layer 2. In the formula I, R1=CH3 or C2H5; R2 is selected from a group consisting of 6 to 12C alkyl group, aryl group, etc.; m/n=30 to 70/70 to 30, 100<=l+m<=1000. In the formula II, R1 is selected from a group consisting of 1 to 12C alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, etc.; l+m/n=30 to 70/70 to 30, 100<=l+m<=1000, h=1 to 5, k=1 to 6. The contrast and responsiveness are improved in this way and the characteristics are improved. |
