PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity and to reduce residual potential and deterioration in characteristics even at the time of repeated uses by incorporating a polyphenylenevinylene derivative as an electric charge transfer material in a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer contains as the charge transfer material the polyphenylenevinylene derivative having characteristics superior in positive hole transfer efficiency and resistant to ozone and photoirradiation and deterioration, thus permitting the charge transfer layer containing the derivative to be enhanced in positive hole transfer efficiency and, sensitivity, and lowered in residual potential, and photosensitivity characteristics to be prevented even at the time of repeated uses. |
