PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of leakage of a heat exchanger by abutting a header plate deflection preventing jig consisting of a pair of upper and lower header plate pressing members and an energizing member for energizing both the pressure members to the outside against the inside of a header plate, energizing it and executing the brazing. CONSTITUTION:A tube expanding part 4a is formed in both end parts of a heat exchanger 4, and in both header plates 2, tube expanding part inserting holes 7 are formed at a prescribed interval in the left and the right directions. Subsequently, a pair of left and right side jigs made of stainless steel 10, a band plate clamping tool made of iron 11, and the lower jig 12 of a plate spring made of stainless steel are set. Next, a pair of upper and lower horizontal rod-like header plate pressing members made of stainless steel 21 and two header plate deflection preventing jigs consisting of an energizing member 22 of a spring made of stainless steel for energizing both the pressure members are prepared and each parts are arranged. In this state, the pressing member 21 is energized by the energizing member 22 and both the header plates are energized to the outside. Thereafter, vacuum brazing is executed at a prescribed temperature and a prescribed degree of vacuum and a heat exchanger is manufactured. In such a manner, leakage from a brazed part is prevented, and the work can be easily executed. |
