PURPOSE:To remove obstruction which hinders screen viewing and not to disturb automatic focusing function by constituting in such a way that light passed through an original is reflected from a semitransmissive mirror in order to be projected onto a screen and a viewer can watch display on the screen through the semitransmissive mirror. CONSTITUTION:The light passed through the original 7 is projected onto a screen 14 via both projecting lens 10 and mirror 11. The mirror 11 is semitransmissive mirror, and reflects the light passed through the original 7. And an overhead projector is constituted in such a way that a screen viewer can watch the screen 14 through the mirror 11. The overhead projector 1 has an automatic focusing mechanism; the light of a light source for automatic focusing detection is reflected in a different position of the mirror 11 from the light passed through the original. Thus, the image of the original can be projected onto the screen, and the viewer can clearly watch the picture on the screen from the rear without being hindered by the mirror. |
