PURPOSE: To reproduce a CT image of high quality in a short time by investigating multiple outside surface points of a sample with a probe for deciding a border and correcting a reproduced image of the CT image of a cross section of the sample. CONSTITUTION: Relating to an outside boundary of an object 14 fixed at a testing position, multiple surfaces or boundary points are investigated with a physical probe 28 according to a scheduled drawing plan for measuring a profile of the object, a boundary point is found, and the measurement date of the boundary paint is processed with a calculator so that a boundary data for deciding an envelope of a cross section of the testing object 14 is prepared. Then, the testing object 14 is treated with a normal CT scan at multiple X-ray projection angles so that the image of slice section is reproduced. Then, the pixel which is known to be present ahead of the envelope is reset to zero, so that a reproduced image is corrected in an object space. Thus, display of reproduced CT image is of excellent quality, inspection and measurement of internal characteristics of the testing object 14 and detection and measurement of internal flaw became easier. |
