<p>PURPOSE: To provide a shall and stable optical converter by providing the converter with a wide-range optical signal source, a interferometer, an optical converter, and a detecting means. CONSTITUTION: Wide-range optical signals from two light emitting diode sources 8 are connected to an optical fiber connecting device 12 through an optical fiber 10, and transferred to a single optical fiber 14, and then connected to an input of an optical converter 16. The output of the converter 16 is further connected to an optical fiber 18, and then connected to the input of an interferometer 20, and the output of the interferometer 20 is inputted in a photo- detective device 21. By changing the interval of the interferometers 20, a peak is detected based on the output of entire spectrum of the converter 16. As a result, the position of the interferometer 20 is decided. Thus, a small optical converter wherein adjustment is easy is provided.</p> |
