PURPOSE:To produce a brazing material having an excellent brazing characteristic by treating the brazing material of an Al alloy with an alkali and hydrogen fluoride. CONSTITUTION:The brazing material of an Al alloy is treated with an alkali and hydrogen fluoride. The Al alloy of the brazing material contains at least Mg and/or Li. The brazing material of the Al alloy is treated with an alkali and then with hydrogen fluoride prior to brazing. By this method, the brazing material having an excellent brazing characteristic can be provided. |
