PURPOSE:To harmonize a weather cover with the outer wall surface of a building with respect to decoration, and to prevent the possibility of soiling the outer wall surface of the building by a method wherein the weather cover is made of a ceramic material or a porcelain enamel material. CONSTITUTION:A weather cover 1 is made of a ceramic material such as an earthen material or of a porcelain enamel material. In the case where the weather cover 1 is made of the ceramic material, it is desired that the outer surface of the weather cover is provided in an ungrazed state, because the surface of the weather cover can be painted in a harmonizing color matched with the color of the wall surface of a building. Further, if a sleeve 2 is also made of a ceramic material, the thermal expansion coefficient of the sleeve becomes substantially equal to that of concrete or the like of which the wall of the building is made, and accordingly, the occurrence of a gap between the wall and the sleeve, a crack of the wall, etc. can be prevented. On the other hand, in the case of the weather cover made of a porcelain enamel material, the weather cover cannot be painted together with the outer wall surface on which the weather cover is mounted. However, a weather cover with a harmonizing color matched with the color of the outer wall surface of the building, on which the weather cover is to be mounted, can be produced in a factory. |
