PURPOSE:To obtain a control system of a high level by constituting the title device so that a control means transmits information of driving speed to a lens unit side and drives each driving means. CONSTITUTION:A lens unit is provided with at least one driving means 22 for changing an optical condition, and a camera device is provided with a control means 16 for inputting the information of at least one of the maximum speed and the minimum speed which can be driven of the driving means 22 in the lens unit which is installed, and setting the driving speed of the driving means within a range in which it can correspond to. Accordingly, as for a zooming lens 5, when a photographer operates a zoom switch 26, an optimum speed corresponding to a lens characteristic is selected by a camera side microcomputer 16 and information of the speed and the rotational direction is sent to a lens side microcomputer 12 through a transmission line 14, and sent to a zoom lens driving means 22. In such a way, the driving means can be constituted easily, and also, the control circuit for varying speed can be simplified. |
