摘要

PURPOSE:To increase adhesion strength of a lubricant and to improve lubricating property and wearing resistance by incorporating hydrogen into as carbon protective film. CONSTITUTION:A chromium base film 2 and a metal magnetic film 3 are formed on a glass substrate 1, on which a hydrogenated carbon film 4 as the protective layer is formed. The amount of hydrogen contained in the hydrogenated carbon film 4 is preferably at the level showing 100-1,000cm<-1> absorption coefft. The interface energy between the protective film and the lubricant decreases because of hydrogen contained in the protective film and consequently, bonding of the protective film and lubricant is increased. Thus, enough wearing resistance and scratching resistance can be obtained.
