<p>PURPOSE:To protect stranded cable with a built-in heat pipe from corrision caused by soil by isolating it from soil with an insulating layer composed of a material excellent in corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION:A corrosion-proof pipe 4 made of a material excellent in corrosion resistance such as a polyethylene pipe is provided into soil 3 from ground level 2, into which stranded cable 1 with a built-in heat pipe is inserted. Around the stranded cable 1 with a built-in heat pipe filler 5 is filled up to constitute an insulating layer. By laying the strands isolated from the soil with a protective tube made of a material resistant to corrosion such as polyethylene in this way, the corrosion resistance of stranded cable with the built-in heat pipe is remarkably improved because the contact of the stranded cable 1 with the built-in heat pipe is prevented with the soil 3.</p> |
