<p>The invention relates to an improved device for the zig-zag folding of a continuously fed web of flexible material, such as tape. According to the invention, the device comprises two units comprising, in particular, two pinions (15, 16) interacting with a fixed rack (17) arranged transversely in the table top, during the transverse movement of the carriage (7), the said pinions (15-16) interacting with means (19-20) which consist in making each of the rollers (4 and 5) alternately positive, respecting the direction in which the web unwinds, whatever the direction of movement of the carriage, and in that it comprises a means (27) acting during the shaping of the folds of the tapes, at the outlet of the rollers (4 and 5), and consisting in exerting an alternating temporary pressing and pushing action on each of the folded parts of the tapes, accompanying the direction of movement of the carriage. <IMAGE></p> |
