PURPOSE:To obtain a good resolution toner image by a method wherein toner on a first photosensitive layer surface of a part which is irradiated by first light among the toner coated on the first photosensitive layer surface is flown by Coulomb's force, and a toner image is formed on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 3 of recording paper or the like is provided between a first and a second photosensitive units 1, 2 and toner 6 is applied onto a, first photosensitive layer 1c and a first charged electrode 1d. Both first light 4a and second light 5a are irradiated, surface resistance Vs1p of the first photosensitive layer 1c and surface resistance Vs2p of the second photosensitive layer 2c become respectively equal to electric potential V1b of a first rear surface electrode and electric potential V2b of a second rear surface electrode. Therefore, when a surface potential difference between the first photosensitive layer 1c, i.e., the part irradiated by the first light 4a and the second photosensitive layer 2c, i.e., the part irradiated by the second light 5a is enough to make the toner 6 fly and the other part has a potential difference by which the toner can not fly, the toner 6 is not diverged radially on the recording medium 3, and a toner image 6a of which peripheral blur or the like are extremely reduced is recorded. |
