PURPOSE:To obtain a recorder accomplishing a state for waiting for a next recording in a short time and preventing a recording sheet from being unnecessarily decurled in the waiting state by disposing a decurling part downstream of a cutter in a recording sheet feed direction. CONSTITUTION:A recording sheet 3 is fed to a recording part 6 together with an ink sheet 5, and an image according to image signals is recorded thereon. Then, the recording sheet is cut by a cutter 7 at the rear end of the image. The sheet with the image being recorded is decurled in a decurling part 8, thereafter being guided by a sheet guide 9 to be discharged onto a reverse tray 11 through a pair of discharge rollers 10a, 10b. On the other hand, in this construction, the recording sheet 3 remaining in a device is rewound until the top end reaches a recording position in the recording part 6 to be kept in a waiting state. The position of the decurling part 8 downstream of the cutter 7 in a recording sheet feed direction enables the recording part to be disposed near the cutter. Therefore, the top end of the recording sheet after being cut off at the rear end of the image can be fed back to the recording part in a shorter time, and the recording sheet is prevented from being unnecessarily decurled in the recording waiting state. |
