PURPOSE:To improve transmission feeling when the engine output is lowered by controlling the opening of a throttle valve so as to keep an acceleration rate of change for a car to a predetermined standard rate of change, prior to the automatic switching of plural gear stages of a synchronous interlocking variable transmission. CONSTITUTION:At a controller 16, input signal is processed as well as driving signals of electromagnetic valves 30, 32, 34, 36 for switching gear stages are output and the exciting current of an electromagnetic clutch 12 is output, while a driving signal of a throttle valve 80 is output to a throttle actuator 82. The present output torque is calculated from the present opening and rotating speed of the throttle valve, and at the same time, the decrease in the output torque so as to keep an acceleration rate of change to a standard rate of change at the lowering of the output is calculated, an aimed output torque being calculated from both of these. Based on the aimed output torque and on the present rotating speed of the throttle valve, the aimed opening thereof at the lowering of the output for an engine 10 is calculated. Since the opening of the throttle valve is controlled in this way, the good transmission feeling can be obtained when the engine output is lowered. |
