PURPOSE:To prevent a paper jamming safely and positively by constructing a paper guide means movable so that it can be interposed on an ink ribbon travel path at the time of paper feeding or paper returning and retracted at the time of printing. CONSTITUTION:A paper guide plate 42 is disposed on the right-hand side of a printing part and made rotatable about a shaft 44. An arm 14 rotates counterclockwise by a predetermined angle by the action of cams 38, 38 at the time of paper feeding or paper returning, whereby the guide plate 42 is lifted, and a capstan roller 30 rotates clockwise to feed paper 28. However, after passing through a guide roller 26, the paper 28 abuts on the guide plate 42 to be guided downwards. Then, the paper 28 is fed to a printing start position, with the change-over to a printing action mode the cams 38, 38 rotate clockwise into a vertical state, and the guide plate 42 rotates counterclockwise and fixed with the upper end part of both sides loaded on shafts 34, 34. Then, the capstan roller 30 rotates counterclockwise to feed the paper 28, and a visible image is recorded thereon. Therefore, a paper jamming can be positively prevented, and a complete printing action is ensured. |
