PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material having improved transportability being prevented from generation of curl and having improved blocking resistance by forming a silver halide emulsion layer to one side of a base body and a backing layer to another side of the base body. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on one side of the base body and the backing layer on another side of the base body. A ratio of a total amt. of a binder per unit area at the side having the silver halide emulsion layer to the total amt. of the binder per unit area for the side having the backing layer is regulated to >=0.7 to <=1.4, >=1.0X10-<3>g to <=2.0g polyhydric alcohol having at least 2 OH groups per 1g binder is contained in one of the sides. Further, a latex polymer is contained in the side having the backing layer. By this constitution, a silver halide photographic sensitive material prevented from generation of curl and improved in blocking characteristic is obtd. The material improves transportability in automatic transportation, etc. |
