<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a memory card having resistance to static electricity and high reliability by a method wherein at least one edge of a pair of metal plates is covered with overhung parts of a frame. CONSTITUTION:On a peripheral part of a resin frame 8, overhung parts 9a and 9b are formed so as to cover edge parts 4a and 4b of a pair of metal plates 2a and 2b, which sandwich the resin frame 8 therebetween, thereby preventing the edge parts 4a and 4b of the metal plates 2a and 2b from being exposed. In this manner, when this card is inserted into an equipment body and subjected to a static electricity test, a resistance to electrostatic voltage is three times or more that in a prior art. Therefore, electrostatically resisting characteristics can be remarkably improved, and a high-reliable memory card can be obtained.</p> |
