A protein suspension is made for the prepn. of powdered protein primarily for food agricultural, pharmaceutical industry use. Organic and/or inorganic protein solvents are added to the suspension for the prepn. of a soln. Proteins are sepd. from solvents pref. by centrifuging and dried e.g. by hypohilisation. Annelids pref. earth-worms and/or snails are used for starting material. Annelids are collected, washed pref. by water; alimentary canals are cleaned pref. by starvation and finally homogenised
