For the reduction of torsional vibrations in the drive line of a motor vehicle and for the reduction of the consequent noises the friction clutch (5) arranged between internal combustion engine (1) and gear (9) is controlled by a slip-regulating circuit the ideal value emitter (43) of which controls the slip in dependence upon the sensed solid-conducted noise level. The slip is controlled so that it increases with increasing solid- conducted noise level. The maximum value of the slip is limited in dependence upon the engine rotation rate, the maximum value decreasing to zero with rising engine rotation rate. <IMAGE> |
