PURPOSE: To make a testing easy by providing a memory device with a static RAM memory, an address register connected therewith, an information communication purpose interconnection part externally accessible by a data input register and a control register, and also providing RAM with a data output terminal. CONSTITUTION: This memory device has an address register 24 connected with a static RAM 20, an information communication purpose interconnection part 48, 52, 31, and 39 of which all of a data input register 30 and a control register 42 are externally accessible, and also the RAM memory 20 has a function data output terminal 34. Further, in parallel with the function data output terminal 34, a data output register 36 is connected with the RAM 20. A data input register 30 and the address register 24 exchange a control signal with a control register 42. The data output register 36 sends a signature pattern from a series of data result patterns and also receives a control signal, and the control register 42 sends a mode control signal related to testing. Thus, a test is easily performed. |
