APPARATUS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MULTI-LAYERED PAPER PROFILES, PARTICULARLY EDGE PROTECTING PROFILES

The proposed equipment comprises a row of paper storage rolls, adhesive and emulsion addn. rolls, guide rolls and rotary knife cutter(s). The last pair of guide rolls are followed by a pair of feed rolls, and cutter comprising two rotating discs. The location of these discs is adjustable. - A storage table and a hydraulic press are pref. placed after the table. The paper strip is cut to the required length and formed into an angle using a hydraulic press. The cut strip is placed on the lower part of the press tool (which is pref. heated). The lower and upper tools are shaped to have forming surfaces at an angle of 75-85 deg., preferably 80 deg.
