Each pager includes a receiver (23) for receiving a transmission signal including an address and a message from a base station, a frame register (49) for holding the number of a transmission frame assigned to the pager, a common frame register (50) for holding the number (8) of a transmission frame commonly used by a plurality of pagers assigned with a transmission frame different from the transmission frame assigned to the pager, address registers (53 to 56) for holding a specific address number of the pager and an address number common to a plurality of pagers and a controller.
